Ron Schenk

PT, PhD, OCS, FAAOMPT, Dip. MDT

Ron is Dean of Health and Human Services and a Professor in the DPT program at Daemen College, where he is also Director of the Fellowship program in OMPT.  Dr. Schenk earned his BS and MS degrees at Ithaca College and his PhD from the University at Buffalo.  Dr. Schenk completed a manual physical therapy residency program from the Gulf Coast Physical Therapy Institute and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists.  Dr. Schenk is Diplomaed in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy through The McKenzie Institute International. He is active in clinical practice with the Catholic Health System of Buffalo, NY (USA) through which he has led and participated in numerous investigations regarding management of cervical and lumbar spine conditions.  These studies have resulted in professional presentations and publications in peer-reviewed journals.
